Camera Work: Framing Techniques
In class, we were tasked with describing 9 different framing techniques in film. These include the following: 1-Shot, 2-Shot, 3-Shot, 4-Shot, Crowd Shot, Over-the-hip Shot, Over-the-shoulder Shot, Point of View Shot, and the Insert Shot. Each of these shots has their own connotations, purposes' and elements in film. We were also tasked with shooting an example of one of each shot.
